Nashville, TN – Breakout Urban sensation and Fervent Records’ Group 1 Crew’s (Blanca, Manwell and Pablo) new album Outta Space Love is proving to be an out-of-this-world-hit as it launches in at No. 1 on SoundScan’s Christian/Gospel Digital Album chart, No. 2 on the Christian Adult Contemporary Album chart and No. 4 overall on the Contemporary Christian Album chart. Last week, their song “Live It Up” was featured as iTunes’ “Single of the Week” and their album Outta Space Love was featured as AmazonMP3's Deal of the Day on release date. Group 1 Crew is currently on the road for a 28-city tour with Fireflight, wrapping-up on November 6 in Miami, FL. The band will re-join the Revolve Tour in January 2011.

Produced by Andy Anderson, David Garcia and Chris Stevens, Outta Space Love is comprised of 12 infectious, fresh songs with unforgettable hooks that showcase the trio’s urban grooves and Hip-Hop sensibilities. The album includes the band’s current Top 5 single, “Walking On the Stars.” The band’s music has also received success through various television placements which include their songs, “Live It Up,” which was featured by the Studio One Young Beast Society dance group on the hit show America’s Got Talent and “Breakdown,” which was featured in promotional spots for E! Television Network’s Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami all summer.
Group 1 Crew has become one of the leading Hip-Hop focused acts in the Christian music scene, having several hit singles, such as “Movin’” and “Keys To The Kingdom,” both of which broke into the Top 5 on Billboard’s Christian CHR Charts. They have won two Dove Awards in the Rap/Hip-Hop Album Of The Year category consecutively in 2007 and 2008, and recently won in the Rap/Hip Hop Recorded Song category with “Movin.” Group 1 Crew has previously had their music featured in a variety of popular television shows, including FOX Television’s “The Simple Life,” Style Network’s “Kimora Lee Simmons: Life in the Fab Lane,” MTV’s “Run’s House,” and The CW’s “One Tree Hill.”
